A LARGE lop-eared bunny has been rescued in Wooburn Green by a kind-hearted animal lover after she found him hopping around on the street.
Debbie Howlett, of Hill Farm Approach, saw the rabbit as she was reversing into her drive just off Holtspur Avenue in Wooburn Green.
It is unclear whether the rabbit has been abandoned or has escaped from its owner.
Debbie said: "The road was really busy and he must have been scared.
"He is a lovely rabbit and quite tame you can tell that he has been handled quite a lot.
"He is really friendly and even our two dogs have made friends with him."
Distinguishing features on the rabbit include brown and black patches and Debbie - who has a pet rabbit of her own - says she believes the rabbit is quite unusual.
She added: "He is quite a large rabbit and when I saw him I just couldn't leave him out in the road as we are animal lovers.
"I know I would be upset if our rabbit was lost and I'm sure someone somewhere is missing him and I just hope they will come forward."
