A YOUNG woman and a man have been taken to hospital after a head-on collision between two cars.
The accident happened on Amersham Road, in Hazlemere, close to Inkerman Drive, at 7pm today.
The pair were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with what Police described as 'non life threatening' injuries, after being treated at the scene.
Firefighters attended the crash to put out one of the cars which caught on fire but have since left.
Traffic had to be diverted by police after closing a section of the road but it is now business as normal.
