A 66-YEAR-OLD man has died in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a fatal collision in Amersham last week.

The two car collision between a red Honda CR-V and a blue Vauxhall Tigra on Whielden Lane at 11pm last Monday February 22 has already taken the life of another motorist.

A 35-year-old man was declared dead at the scene on the A404 near the turning for Coleshill and was named on Thursday as Daniel Coupland from Holmer Green. A post mortem revealed he died of multiple injuries.

The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hosptial where he has since died from his injuries.
