FIREFIGHTERS from High Wycombe were called upon to help tackle a major blaze at a power station in Didcot last night.
A turntable ladder fire engine spent almost six hours at the scene after they were called in to help at 9pm, last night.
Bucks Fire and Rescue confirmed the team returned back to High Wycombe Fire Station at 4.49am today.
The fire is believed to have broken out at Didcot B station at about 8pm and was said to be under control by late yesterday evening.
