A Wycombe school that teaches pupils with learning difficulties has unveiled its new sensory room.

Chiltern Gate School, in Verney Avenue, now boasts a new room as part of their facilities for primary-aged children.

The room was funded by rugby charity, Wooden Spoon, and was opened by the town’s mayor, Khalil Ahmed, and headteacher, Bradley Taylor, last month.

Mr Taylor described the opening as “marking an important step in the school's continued progress towards providing an outstanding education for our deserving children.”

Pupils of all ages at the school now use the room, which provides a great sensory stimulus for students.
