THE Arctic conditions have forced a charity to call off its annual walk in memory of deceased children.

The Child Bereavement Charity’s Snowdrop Walk - due to take place on Sunday at West Wycombe Park - has been halted because of the frozen ground, the recent snowfall and weekend forecasts of sub-zero temperatures.

The charity will hold a Mother's Day Walk on Sunday, March 18 between 2pm and 5pm.

The event will follow the same format as the Snowdrop Walk and will include snowdrop bulb planting and a children's treasure trail followed by refreshments at West Wycombe Village Hall.
