A CRACKDOWN on speeding motorists continues in Marlow over the next few weeks, after officers handed out 65 tickets on morning alone.
Police have carried out a number of recent operations around Marlow, concentrating on 30mph zones near schools and residential areas.
And Marlow neighbourhood officers issued 65 fines in a little over three hours on Seymour Court Road.
One driver was caught doing 57mph near Marlow Infant School, labelled by Sgt Robin Hughes as ‘outrageous’.
A series of Community Speedwatch operations are also set for the town, after the town council’s call for volunteers was answered.
Anyone zapped by one of the resident activists will be sent a warning letter by police to watch their speed otherwise they may face a fine next time.
