A 77-YEAR-OLD woman has died in hospital after a collision in Marlow.

Police said a blue Seat Ibiza left the road and collided with a pedestrian on the A4155 roundabout junction with the A404 Marlow Bypass.

The woman, who police say is local, died later in Wexham Park Hospital.

The male driver of the Seat was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on police bail.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about about 7.45am on Saturday.

Anyone with any information, who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle involved driving from the Bourne End direction towards Marlow, is asked to contact PC Mike Sapwell of Amersham Roads Policing base via 0845 8 505 505.
