DONATIONS of gifts are being sought for a fundraising event that will help to send children suffering from serious illnesses such as cancer on much-needed holidays.
The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund is asking people to give small gifts, such as chocolates, wine or toiletries, for a tombola that will take place on Sunday, December 8, at Missenden Abbey Craft Market, which runs from 11am to 4pm.
There will also be a range of stalls and activities, a Santa's Grotto, carol singers and much more besides.
Every year the charity takes serioulsy ill children for a sepcial trip to Disnelyand Paris in the run-up to Christmas, and provides other holidays to children throughout the year.
Gift donations can be made at The JNP Partnership in Prestwood; High Quality Lighting, Wye Estate, London Road, High Wycombe or direct to the charity at 18 Sixty Acres Road, Prestwood, HP16 0PD.
