A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Princes Risborough yesterday.

At about 2.10pm, there was a fight between three men in Woodfield Road.

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, including injuries to his chest, consistent with having been stabbed, police confirmed.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance attended the scene, along with a land ambulance and ambulance doctor. 

The man was treated at the scene and then taken by land ambulance to John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, where he is in a stable condition.

Two men, aged 18 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both men have been released on bail until January 4.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person, causing them actual bodily harm, and has been released on bail until December 16.
