THE first community fund raising fete will take place in West Wycombe this year on September 11 at the Pedestal Playing Fields.
West Wycombe Parish Council is currently contacting organisations in the area and the Neighbourhood Action Group donated £100.
The money raised will go towards play equipment for the children's play area in the field. If parishioners can help with the fundraising effort they are asked to contact the parish council. Go to www.westwycombe.org.uk for details.
