A PETITION has been launched to secure residents' parking permits for Marlow householders fed up with being unable to find a space outside their own homes.
Steven Clarke, 37, an architect, of Station Road, Marlow, decided to launch the on-line petition after reading about the action group formed by Marlovians living around Riley Park.
Furious families bearing placards told the Marlow Free Press earlier this month that they were sick of never being able to park on their street due to staff from town businesses parking there all day.
Their anger was brought to a head by the opening of the new Sainsbury's in West Street, which has 140 staff.

Mr Clarke said: “It's a bit of a nightmare, especially with two young children when you've got a pram, shopping bags and so on.
"We often have to park up to 400 metres away from our house.
“We struggle to park outside our home on a regular basis and I think a residents parking scheme must be the way forward.”
