IT’S worrying to hear of the crisis currently engulfing Wasps rugby club. The club urgently needs investors to come forward, and apparently there is a threat of administration if this doesn’t happen.
The most bewildering aspect for us is the fact the club and Wycombe District Council haven’t spoken since last summer after councillors ditched the stadium plan.
Whatever the rights and wrongs of this decision, we suggest it’s high time Wasps and WDC get back round a table to talk about how they can help each other. The future of this rugby club in Wycombe is too important – this silence must end.
