A Chiltern-based artist has announced this week that she is selling off four pieces of her work to raise money for two south Bucks animal charities.
Contemporary modern artist Natalie Francis from Prestwood is running the online auction on her Facebook page to raise money for Chiltern Cats Protection and Stokenchurch Dog Rescue.
Ms Francis said: “I decided on the two charities because I have always been around animals, always had dogs from local rescue centres and have recently taken in an abandoned cat.
“I believe in supporting local charities because without them they wouldn't be able to save animals from neglect and abuse and give them a loving, warm, safe place to live.”
The 23-year-old said 25% of the money raised from the sale of each of the pieces will be shared between the two charities.
Alongside the auction, Ms Francis also confirmed she will be donating 10% of the proceeds from future original drawings, paintings and commissions to both charities.
Information about the auction is available at www.facebook.com/nataliekatherineart.
