A plan for a new development of up to 160 homes in Longwick has been submitted to Wycombe District Council.
Gladman Developments submitted the application for a residential estate on the land south of Barn Lane on April 30.
The 6.73 hectare site, which is currently a field, will also have space for parking, public open space and play facilities.
There will be road access to the development from Boxer Road and Barn Road and pedestrian and cycle access from Walnut Tree Lane.
An original planning application made by Gladman Developments outlined a proposal for 175 houses, but the number has now been reduced to 160 after a consultation process.
