An annual ceremony in memory of lost loved ones in Princes Risborough raised more than £4,000 for charity. 

The Tree of Light ceremony, which is organised by the town's rotary club, took place on Sunday, November 29, in the gardens at the corner of New Road and Duke Street. 

Residents were invited to dedicate a light on the tree in memory of loved ones who have passed away. 

More than 500 dedications were made and more than £4,000 was raised for good causes - taking the total up to £33,000 in the eight years the rotary club has held the event. 

Around half of the money raised will go to Rennie Grove Hospice Care, a charity providing care and support for patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families.
