WASPS moved into the Heineken Cup qualifying places with their 34-15 win over London Welsh this afternoon.
Their victory, their first away from home in the Premiership this season, moved them up to fifth in the Aviva Premiership thanks to tries from Joe Simpson, Elliot Daly, Will Robinson and Tom Varndell.
But director of rugby Dai Young has warned his players not to be too self-satisfied.
He said: “It's great to be in the top six now but I'd rather be in there at the end of the season. There is a long way to go.
“If you'd have said at the start of the season we'd have been in this position going into the new year I'd have been thrilled and snapped your hand up.
“But it's very tight. If you go on a two or three game run it puts you right in contention with the big boys, but the flip side of that is if you lose two or three you're back looking over your shoulder.
“I was really pleased with today, it was a fantastic second half but next week is a different game.”
