BAD weather again played havoc with the football fixtures last night with almost all the Southern League matches postponed.

Chalfont St Peter's match at North Greenford United was off, denying Danny Edwards' men the chance to climb the Division One Central table.

That was one of six matches in the division called off, although Beaconsfield got away with it as they weren't meant to play anyway.

They remain one place out of the play-offs.
