WYCOMBE High School have qualified for the next round of the National Schools U15s Squash Championships.
They beat Wycombe Abbey to progress with Rachel Albin, Bethan Draper, and Kathryn Evans all winning their matches 3-0.
The victory completed a wonderful week for the school’s squash department, after coach Heidi Leseur was the inaugural winner of the Volunteer Recognition Award for the South Region in recognition of her work with Wycombe Squash and Racket Club, Wycombe High School and Handy Cross Sports Centre.
However, Wycombe High’s U19s couldn’t make it a hat-trick as they lost to Dr Challoner’s in the Schools Championships, although their team did include three members of the U16s squad.
