JOHN Hampden Grammar School are closing in a second national squash title in two years.
Their U15s booked their place in the National School Championships finals with a resounding 15-0 victory over Eton.
Eton had beaten the John Hampden U19s a few weeks previously so revenge was definitely in the air, and Jasper Kettle had Eton brewing with a 3-0 win at number five.
Number four Jack Murzynowski continued the momentum with another 3-0 victory, despite the 11-year-old giving away three years to his opponent, and the tie was settled when number three Tom Burge made it a hat-trick of cleansweeps.
John Hampden were unrelenting though, and Mattie Hewlett and Freddie Evans completed the whitewash with wins at the top of the draw.
The squad will now hope to add to the title John Hampden won in 2012 when they go to Manchester next weekend for the finals.
