WASPS captain Chris Bell admits it was a difficult post-mortem after Saturday’s walloping by Northampton Saints.
Bell was one of only three regular starters in a team that subsided 74-13 at Franklin’s Gardens, but he says that doesn’t make it any easier to take.
He said: “It’s up to whoever pulls the jersey on to go out and play well and it was a really poor game from us.
“It was hard to look at the video. It was a big game we didn’t turn up in, but you’ve got to man up, you’ve got to look at it and find out why things went wrong and then fix it. We’ll get it sorted.
“We’ve debriefed it and there is lots to work on but we’re very much focused on this weekend.”
