WANDERERS appear to be taking a longer look at trialist Aaron Holloway, who played for the club in a friendly on Saturday.
The striker was at Adams Park on Wednesday and took part in a pre-match warm-up routine with physio Cian O'Doherty despite not playing any part in that night's friendly match against Chelsea.
Holloway, released by Newport County after a four-match stint with the Welsh club last season, played the first half of Blues' first friendly of the season at Cheshunt.
He impressed with his hold-up play and the fact he was invited to Adams Park in the week would suggest manager Gareth Ainsworth is still mulling over the possibility of giving him a deal.
The 21-year-old, who has represented Wales at youth level, began his career at hometown club Cardiff before crossing the Severn Bridge to join Bristol City.
While at Ashton Gate he had a loan spell with Bath City, before he joined Newport following his release by the Robins in January.
Wanderers play West Bromwich Albion in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Baggies' training ground tomorrow.
