HIGH Wycombe CC are top of the Home Counties League after beating Burnham while Banbury lost at Henley.
Their victory was founded on the back of a superb bowling display, as James Benning and Alan Duncan took three wickets each to help bowl Burnham out for just 183 inside 47 overs.
In reply, George Russell's 73 from 64 balls ignited his side while the recalled Saif Zaib, promoted up the order to number three, score a helpful 42 as the London Road side got home with six wickets left.
Their third win in a row has moved them up to 159 points in a tightly-packed title race, with Henley on 154, Banbury on 152 and Slough on 151.
