CHESHAM United found their scoring boots to put four past Bideford in the Southern Premier League.
The romped to a 4-2 victory with goals from Ryan Blake, Mark Bell, Simon Thomas and David Pearce.
Chesham had failed to score in four of their previous five matches, but will hope they have lit the touch paper now.
Tomorrow they host Hitchin Town before a trip to Dunstable Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in Division One Central, Beaconsfield SYCOB led Bedworth United 2-0 after 25 minutes but then capitulated to lose 5-2, Marlow were beaten 3-0 at Northwood but Chalfont St Peter hammered North Greenford United 4-1.
