BEACONSFIELD SYCOB secured their best result of the season as they thrashed Bucks rivals Aylesbury United 4-0 on Saturday.

Aaron Couch bagged a brace and Ashley Kelynack and substitute Omari Patrick were also on target against an Aylesbury team reduced to ten men in the second half.

The Ducks were also indebted to a string of fine saves from goalkeeper Jack Sillitoe to keep the score down.

The win was only SYCOB's second on home soil all season and it takes them out of the relegation zone of the Southern League Central Division.

Elsewhere in the division Chalfont St Peter remain in the play off places but saw their six match winning run come to an end as they were beaten 2-0 at leaders Kettering Town.

Marlow's home match with Barton Rovers was abandoned at half time with the game still goalless due to floodlight failure at Oak Tree Road. The Blues are away to St Ives Town tomorrow night.
