There are no injury concerns over Hogan Ephraim as Wanderers prepare to host Plymouth Argyle tonight.

Ephraim struck the winning goal on Saturday but failed to last the full 90 minutes due to cramp, having only recently come back into the team after injury.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth said he's prepared to be patient with the former QPR man as he continues his recovery - but insists he's good to go against the Pilgrims at Adams Park this evening.

Speaking after the win at Cambridge on Saturday, Ainsworth said: "He cramped up. I had to take him off against Portsmouth as he got a little bit tired. Today, he's shown he hasn't played 90 minutes since November, but there's plenty to come from Hogan Ephraim.

"It's a patient one. This is professional football, you can't just put people in and expect them to last the 90.

"The great thing I'm seeing from Hogan is the fight and the tenacity in his game. I know he's got the skill and bits of magic - he was born with those. The fight and togetherness he's got with the boys is really special. I'm hopeful we can restart Hogan Ephraim's career."

Wanderers go into tonight's game on a run of 12 matches unbeaten, but superstitious Ainsworth pointed to something of a hoodoo Argyle have had over his side in recent seasons.

Home victories in Wycombe v Plymouth match-ups are rare, with Blues winning their last three at Home Park but the Greens victorious on their last trip to Bucks, having held out for a point in Ainsworth's first home match in caretaker charge.

And John Sheridan's men had the welcome boost of a 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley on Saturday, having slipped out of the play off places after a seven match winless streak.

Ainsworth said: "We've got a tough one coming up on Tuesday night. Plymouth hasn't been good for us at home for a couple of years.

"Their tails will be up after winning."
