Wanderers have announced a partnership with the new Wycombe Leisure Centre, which is set open in the New Year.

The club will benefit from the centre’s state-of-the-art facilities including swimming pools, gymnasium and indoor sports hall.

The new centre will also be open to the public and the club’s commercial manager, Damian Irvine, is confident it will have a big impact on both the Chairboys and the local area.

“They have a range of facilities which will help our players keep fit and recover from injuries, and these will be invaluable. Particularly in bad weather when training outdoors isn’t possible,” he told the club website.

“Perhaps the most important aspect of the whole partnership is that our players, staff and club badge will be right in the heart of Wycombe District Council’s local area, encouraging and inspiring children, teens and families to participate in sport.”

The relationship will also see the new centre become advertising partners at Adams Park on matchdays and medical staff will also have access to the high-tech facilities.

Stuart Lee, general manager of Wycombe Leisure centre, said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with Wycombe Wanderers and look forward to developing a partnership with the leading professional sports club in the area.”
