It was another quiet week in Division One of the Bucks Squash League as Holmer Green and Chesham Bois 1B faced off in the only match played.

It was Green who ultimately emerged victorious as they eased to a 16-5 win to move ahead of their mid-table rivals.

In Division Two Holmer Green Seconds held their nerve to win 13-12 against Aylesbury Firsts.

Aylesbury will have felt hard done by in a match which saw them win two of their matches 3-0, but lose the overall tie after suffering three 3-2 defeats.

The match was so close in fact they only lost the by virtue of the four bonus points picked up by Holmer. Meanwhile, Wycombe Squash and Racket Club Nomads beat Chesham 1879 13-7 and club mates Drifters suffered a 15-10 loss to Beaconsfield Bulls.

Division leaders Chesham Bois Mavericks continued their chase for the title with a 14-8 win over RAF.

Their cause was then strengthened considerably as Chesham Bois Seniors pulled off a thumping 19-4 win over their nearest challengers Beaconsfield Tigers.

The Tigers hit back in their second match of week with an 18-7 win over Aylesbury and are now seven points adrift of Mavericks.

The Seniors have moved up into second and are three points behind Mavericks having played a game more.

Rivets have maintained their position at the top of Division Three, but have new challengers in the form of Beaconsfield Trojans after they picked up a 16-7 win against Chesham 1879 Seconds.

Finally, Wycombe Ladies continued their recent dominance over Beaconsfield as their second team beat Beaconsfield Stripes 16-2.

The result owed much to the quality of Fleur Drummer, Marion Holmes and Brenda Ede as they all won 3-0. They were ably supported by Helen Cardy who held off a fightback from Leona McNamee to claim a 3-2 win.
