With only three matches left to play in the Bucks Squash League it is now or never for many local sides.
Uxbridge remain the only side capable of stopping Aylesbury Grammar School (AGS) in their apparently unstoppable charge towards the Division One title.
They managed to keep AGS, who have a 100% record this season, within their sights with a hard-fought 15-10 win against Chesham Bois 1A.
It was a less successful weekend for Gerrards Cross, however, as their title hopes faded into obscurity with respective 15-6 and 17-6 defeats against Chesham and Holmer Green.
In Division Two, Chesham Bois Mavericks maintained their hold on top spot with a 14-8 victory over bottom side Chesham 1879.
Despite their win, Mavericks lead at the top of the table was trimmed to 13 points as Beaconsfield Tigers put together a commanding performance against Farnham Common.
The Tigers will be slightly disappointed with their efforts though, as they followed up the 19-3 win with a surprise 13-8 loss against 1879.
Chesham Bois Seniors are third after a 16-8 win over WSRC Drifters, while WSRC Nomads complete the top four after a 17-4 defeat of Beaconsfield Bulls.
Rivets still lead Division Three by 53 points, but Beaconsfield Trojans will harbour some hopes of catching them as they have two games in hand over their title rivals.
