The start of the Super Singles Darts League began at the Riverside Club.
Mick Carlton got his season flying with an impressive 10-0 win over newcomer Rich Parcell, last year’s winner Paul Tubb also was in dominant form winning 9-1 over Simon White.
Sarah Mallott was another newcomer to the league, and she produced a fine display winning 8-2 over Keith Carter.
The Pat O’Reilly-Mark Luckett match was full of quality. A 5-5 draw was a fair result with O’Reilly hitting a 180.
The match of the night saw John Beattie take on Leigh Birch, and it was Beattie that edged the win , emerging victorious 6-4 whilst also hitting a 104 outshot and Birch scored a 127 outshot.
Andy Long found some form and won 7-3 against Ryan Carroll.
