HIGH Wycombe cricket star Isa Guha jets off to Australia today as part of the England Ladies Cricket Team installed as favourites to win the World Cup next month.

The team, which were presented with the Sunday Times Team of the Year award by Lawrence Dallaglio last week, won the Ashes in Australia last February and beat New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa and India in one-day series' during the year.

They are currently on a winning run of 15 ODI and Twenty20 Internationals.

England play New South Wales, Australia and West Indies in World Cup warm-up games, before opening their shoulders in earnest against Sri Lanka on Saturday, March 7.

They also play India and Pakistan before the Super Six stage (the top three teams from both groups) gets underway.
