WANDERERS and Millwall have both been charged with failing to control their players following Saturday's 21-man brawl at Adams Park.

They have been charged under FA Rule E20 after the incident which saw saw Wanderers' Gareth Ainsworth sent off.

He was dismissed withim six minutes of coming onto the field as a substitute for flattening Lions defender Tony Craig.

Earlier in the season, Ainsworth had fractured the same player's cheekbone when he landed a boot in his face as he attempted an overhead kick.

Saturday's incident sparked a mass brawl with Millwall players rushing to attack Ainsworth as Craig lay in a heap.

Danny Schofield threw Ainsworth to the ground where he was set upon by a number of Millwall players.

Players and substitutes from both sides then joined in the frcas with fists and boots flying.

Cans and bottles were also thrown onto the field by Millwall fans as tempers flared in the stand as well.

A Wycombe ballboy was also pushed over by Millwall striker Neil Harris after the youngster chucked the ball away instead of giving it back to him.

The most likely outcome is that both clubs will be fined.

They have until March 11 to respond to the charges.
