ALEX Goodall completed a superb double at the rearranged Bucks County Cross-Country Championships at Stopsley Park.

The Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow runner repeated his victory at the Bucks Schools Championships just ten days earlier as he won by a substantial margin.

Wycombe Phoenix Harrier Will Langley took silver in the senior men’s 13km and was supported by teammate Lewis Riseley who finished 11th while Lucy Rogers won bronze in the ladies 6km race.

Other bronzes came from Pippa Woolven in the 5k U17 race and from Ben Sutherland in the U13boys.

Kieran Wye finished second in the U15 race to claim his second silver medal having finished runner up in the Hertfordshire Schools Championships.

Wycombe Phoenix Harrier Georgina Sutherland was another winner, leading from the start to win the U13 race with Heather Riches third.

Her sister Rebecca also earned her first ever County selection when she came fourth in the U15 Girls race, closely followed by their training partner Sophie Street who came fifth.

Maryse Haynes also booked a place on the Bucks team when she finished fourth in the U20 race.
