BRIVE say it would take a massive offer for them to write off the last year of Riki Flutey’s contract.

The England centre has been linked with a move to Wasps and Munster, with some reports saying a return to Adams Park was virtually done.

But Brive director Simon Gillham says not.

He said: “If we are offered a million euros to buy out his last year, we would think about it, but I have not received any offer for Riki. He is under contract until June 2011.”

The 30-year-old says he will see out his contract at Brive if that is what they decide, and insists everything else is just speculation.

He said: “The whole thing about what I do next year is all speculation.

“It’s not bothering me at all. Simon Gillham has told me I’m contracted for another year, simple as that.

“I’m focused on fulfilling my contract. If that’s what he says I should do, that’s it. It’s not playing on my mind.”
