SIMON Shaw been named in England's starting XV for Saturday's Six Nations match in France after recovering from a shoulder injury.

The Wasps lock has made a speedy recovery after picking up the injury against Ireland.

Wasps director of rugby Tony Hanks said: "The same thing happened after Leicester. People said he'd be out for months and he was back the following week.

"You never write him off. I'm not at all surprised he's back. What surprised me is that he didn't play against Scotland.

"But it's good news for Shawsy, good news for England, and hopefully good news for us in terms of him coming back fit and ready to go."

Joe Worsley and Tim Payne also start.
