BLUES boss John Gorman has issued a rallying call ahead of today's match at home to Mansfield.

He has called on fans to get behind the team as they look to put their recent poor form behind them.

Gorman wants the supporters to cheer the Blues back to the top of the table after they lost the Division Two lead for the first time since November following a 2-0 defeat at Wrexham on Saturday.

He said: "We want to bounce straight back. Saturday was just one of those games.

"Now we're looking for the fans to get right behind us.

"Three of the draws we have had should have been wins. It's been a hard time but we need to show our mettle."

Today's game could be the first starts at home for new signings Jermaine Easter and Dean Bowditch.

Easter who was brought in from Stockport after hitting ten goals in 21 games has been involved twice with Wanderers both away games and has yet to open his account. He made his first start at Wrexham but chances were few and far between.

Gorman said: "If we make the chances we normally do, then Jermaine could have a good day."

Bowditch is also looking to make his first home start since his loan move from Ipswich.

Gorman said: "The players need time to settle. Sometimes, it upsets things if you bring in too many people at once but we need to get back on track."
