CRAIG Woodman could be on the verge of a move away from Wycombe Wanderers.

The left back has been strongly linked with a switch to Brentford, and manager Gary Waddock was circumspect about the future of a player who captained Blues for parts of last season.

He said: "He's still with us at the moment. He was in yesterday, but we'll have to wait and see. It will all come out in the wash."

It is believed that the delay in Ben Strevens' move to Blues was because Bees wanted a Wycombe player in return, understood to be Woodman, but Waddock was not keen to let the full back leave Adams Park.

Further developments are expected later today.

Waddock also said that new signings could 'possibly' be announced today.
