WANDERERS are poised to sign Scott Rendell from Peterborough United.
The striker is understood to be undergoing a medical at the club this morning.
The 23-year-old is a proven goal-scorer with 59 goals in 120 starts in a career that has taken him to Forest Green, Crawley, Cambridge United and Peterborough.
He struggled to break into the Posh team though, and last season scored 12 goals in 28 starts on loan at Torquay.
A fee of £50k is believed to have been agreed for the player, who still has a year to run on his contract at London Road.
