WANDERERS defender Adam Hinshelwood has not been given a squad number by Blues this season.
The centre back who captained the team after joining from Aldershot in January is out of contract this summer, but manager Gary Waddock says there is not a late hitch.
He said: "We're talking, and it's always positive when you're talking to players.
"It's been a very busy time and we'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Nothing has happened, there is no hitch."
And Waddock said fans shouldn't read too much into the fact that Hinshelwood hasn't been given a squad number. He said: "He's not under contract, so what's the point of giving him a squad number if nothing happens. But he's not talking to anyone else."
