WANDERERS are hoping to complete the signing of Wealdstone right back Marvin McMcoy today after the 21-year-old passed a medical at Adams Park yesterday.
Blues appear to have beaten off the challenge off Southampton, Leeds and Charlton to snap up the former Watford trainee on a one-year deal.
Blues boss Gary Waddock watched McCoy impress again in last night's 2-1 pre-season friendly win at Burnham but says reports that the deal has gone through already are premature.
Wanderers aren't expecting any problems though and the paperwork should be completed today.
McCoy was part of a young Wanderers side on duty last night when goals from Lee Weemes and Stuart Green earned them a 2-1 victory despite Leon Johnson's spectacular headed own goal.
