MARLOW Hockey Club players Jack Clee and Jack Turner represented England U16s in a Four Nations tournament in Holland last weekend.
The talented duo, who attend Sir William Borlase's School, were selected for the 18-man squad after impressing at trials last autumn.
England found the competition tough but Clee and Turner helped the team return home in the bronze medal position after clawing back a 5-1 defecit to triumph 6-5 against Germany in the third v fourth play-off on Easter Monday. A further highlight was an impressive 2-2 draw against eventual winners Holland in the group stages, while they also featured against runners-up Spain.
They will now hope for further international recognition with the squad, who have fixtures against Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, and Germany in the coming months.
