VLADISLAV Korshunov says he's determined to win back his place in the Russian national team for the European Nations Cup.
The Wasps hooker captained his country at last year's World Cup but wasn't picked for any of the first four games in the European Nations Cup after being overlooked by coach Kingsley Jones.
The tournament resumes a fortnight after Wasps end their season against Newcastle and Korshunov said: "I am counting on returning for the national team. If we don't have any more games [with Wasps], then I think the coaches at Wasps and Russia will come to an agreement."
The 29-year-old joined Wasps from VVA Podmoskovye in January and has made three Premiership appearances for the Adams Park side, and started against Biarritz on Saturday.
