LUCKY winners in our Olympic ticket competition were presented with their golden tickets at the Bucks Free Press offices on Wednesday evening.
The Bucks Free Press teamed up with Buckinghamshire County Council and other local media in March to offer 100 pairs of tickets to the Games to the most deserving nominees, The majority of the tickets are for Dorney Lake, although four lucky winners will be going to the opening or closing ceremonies.
Rosemary Graham, from Holmer Green was nominated by the Wycombe Homeless Connection.
She has one of the tickets for what is sure to be a spectacular closing ceremony.
She said: “I’m totally and utterly dumbstruck. It’s an amazing privilege just to be a part of it and I’m humbled to be nominated by such a worthy charity.”
