MATT Bloomfield is looking forward to pitting himself against a man he calls a football icon tomorrow.

Former Chelsea and Italy legend Gianfranco Zola is now in charge at Watford after the Hornets controversially gave the boot to former boss Sean Dyche.

Bloomfield is intrigued to see how Zola's side will line up, and thinks it is good for the game the former international is involved at Championship level.

The long-serving midfielder said: "He's an icon of my time growing up watching him play in the Premier League. Someone like that to be involved in the club is fantastic for them.

"It'll be interesting to see how they set themselves out. We expect them to be a passing team, as his playing days would suggest.

"It's great to have someone of his calibre in the Championship."
