DANNY Foster played for the first time since April as Wanderers drew with Luton in a friendly yesterday.

The right back hadn't played since Blues faced Charlton, with a mystery injury ruling him out of the entire pre-season campaign.

His return will be a welcome boost to Blues boss Gary Waddock, who is also without Marvin McCoy and has had to play central defender Anthony Stewart at full back.

Foster played the first half of Wycombe's 1-1 draw before being replaced by one of two trialists to feature for Wanderers.

After a goalless first hour Luton went in front before an equaliser from Dennis Oli five minutes later.

Jo Kuffour, signed earlier in the day, played the first 65 minutes and could feature for the first team at Southend on Saturday.
