Marcus Bean says Wanderers have no reason to fear anyone in League Two as they continue their fight for the title.

Two wins in four days over the Easter period, against Oxford on Friday and Burton on Monday, could see Blues overhaul the Brewers and go top of the table.

Bean, who won League Two as a Brentford player in 2009, is keen to add another promotion to his CV and he sees a glorious chance to do just that with seven games remaining this season.

“At this stage of the season it’s about doing whatever it takes to get over the line,” he said.

“You could end up only needing two wins for example. We’ve just got to keep this good run going, keep racking up as many points as possible and seeing where that takes us.”

A trip to the Pirelli Stadium on Monday, a place where only three teams have won this season, will not phase the midfielder, who hopes Blues can move above the Brewers with two good results.

Bean said: “It’s something that we’ve said. We want to be going into the game on Monday with a chance to overtake Burton.

“With their draw in the week it’s given us the opportunity, if we do the business on Friday, to have that chance going into Monday.

“We don’t fear anybody in this league. We know that if we turn up and do what we do best that we can beat anybody on our day.

“We’ll go there full of confidence, regardless of what happens on Friday. We’re confident we can beat them.”
