Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth believes Fred Onyedinma has done enough for his side on loan to be considered for Millwall next season.

The teenager has scored eight goals in 20 appearances for Blues after joining on loan from the Championship Lions.

Previous Millwall boss Ian Holloway allowed him to go out on loan, but he has been replaced by former academy manager Neil Harris in a bid to avoid relegation.

Ainsworth said Harris had seen more than enough from Onyedinma to make him think he can make an impact for the London club next season - whichever division they end up in.

The Wanderers chief said: "He's been to watch Fred many times when he was academy manager and was very impressed.

"I think Neil's got his taste buds whet for next year with what Fred can do."
