GARY Waddock has played down talk of a fall-out with some of his senior players, including Kevin Betsy.

The fans' favourite has fallen down the pecking order at Adams Park, with Kadeem Harris grabbing his chance to make an impact on the first team after Betsy missed the start of the season to play for the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean Island Games.

Waddock said he wasn't in his first team plans at the moment but denied there had been a behind-the-scenes bust-up.

He said: "At the moment he's not in the first team group. There's been no fall-out. If there's rumour going round, that's rumour.

"I can't play four wide players. Kadeem's done exceptionally well and he's one of the options."

Andy Sandell and Scott Rendell have been sent out on loan in recent weeks and Waddock said: "They're footballing decisions. Rendell needs to play to get some form."

The Blues boss said Betsy might "possibly" be available to go out on loan as well but he said: "I haven't had that conversation with Bets."
