JUNIOR Morias has signed for Boreham Wood on a permanent basis following his release from Wanderers.

The teenager scored nine times in 14 games for the non league side while on loan from Blues last season, and despite agreeing a new contract in the summer he was released by mutual consent on transfer deadline day.

Morias netted in his first game since joining Wood permanently last night, scoring the winner as a substitute in a 2-1 victory over St Albans.

Former Blue Lee Angol opened the scoring as Wood went top of Conference South.

Morias - who played as a trialist for a QPR development squad a week after exiting Adams Park - will train full time with League Two side Luton Town, who will assess the striker with a view to a potential transfer to Kenilworth Road.

Boreham Wood manager Ian Allinson told the club website: "Junior is a special talent, needs someone to believe in him, he has a great knack of scoring goals, works very hard and gives us another dimension. He will add goals, add quality and add options to our squad and that will be vital to our clubs play off and promotion aspirations this season."
