BLUES fans are being rewarded for their loyalty through sticking with their team in last season's relegation struggle, manager Gareth Ainsworth said.

It was tough watching Wanderers at times last year, but in a reversal of fortune Blues find themselves currently topping the table.

The latest of the nine wins they've picked up so far this campaign came at near neighbours Oxford United and Ainsworth dedicated the victory to the 1,690 travelling supporters.

He said: "They deserve some good times. They went through a lot last year and I'm really pleased me and the boys have been able to deliver for them. The boys were outstanding today.

"Our fans have helped them enjoy it, if you could see the scenes at the end."
